The Prince and the Princess stand alone in the royal bedroom. Tonight is their wedding night, but they have barely spoken before this. They feel no spark for one another. The Kingdom demands an heir.

The Consummation is a 2-player GM-less TTRPG about a political marriage between two asexual (or otherwise queer and incompatible) royals. Political circumstances have bound them in matrimony, cultural taboos have left them clueless about sex, and the Princess will have her "virginity" checked in the morning. They have until sunrise to consummate their marriage, or else imperil themselves and their Kingdoms.

The goal of the game is for the Prince and the Princess to find a way through this predicament. They will spend their wedding night sharing the scant information they have with one another, and getting to know each others’ ambitions, fears, and boundaries. In the end, they will decide on a plan to proceed, whether that’s attempting consummation to appease their families or finding some way to safely escape this.

The Consummation is a game about asexuality, allonormativity, and the ways that oppressive political systems and cultural expectations coercively shape relationships.

All you need to play is a d6 and some index cards.
